I think I've become a work-a-holic. Whenever I have a day off, I get so bored doing nothing around the house that I wish I could be at work, where interesting things and people are. Even on days I work at 4, I cant wait to get out of the house and get there. It's weird. I guess its good that I like my job.. haha.
On a side note, I absolutely love Texas thunderstorms. The high speed wind, bolts of lightening every couple second, booming thunder.. no weather is better down here, unless its sunny and 0% humidity, but that never happens.
Just some random thoughts.

Party like a rockstar.
What a night.
Worked all day yesterday, sucked ass. I dont think I've ever heard so many people whine and complain on how long the food is taking and shit like that. "Hellooo you aren't the only person in this restaurant.. look around, the place is packed, its gonna be at least a 30 min wait for food" Dumbasses. It's unbelievable how high people place themselves on a pedestal, thinking they are the most important person in the world.
After that wonderful day, we had to party/unwind with the coworkers, of course. One of them had a "welcome home" party cuz they just moved into a new house. Fridge stocked full of beer, jello shots, and every kind of liquor you can imagine. Ridiculous. Nothing but good times for sure. Met a lot of sweet people, finally. Haha.
On a even better note, still continuing w/ the diet and lost 12.5 pounds so far. Yayyy! only 3.4 more pounds to get my goal.. and its only June. :-)

only the good die young...
You just never expect things like this to happen to people you know. It sucks to go out when you are this young... especially when it could have easily been avoided.

Get well soon, Jackie Matthes <3
You are both in my thoughts.. :-(

RIP TPIR :-(
I never thought this day would come so soon. The final episode of The Price Is Right.. tomorrow. :-( What am I to do during the weekdays at 10/11 am from now on? No more yelling at the TV and calling people retarded for their bids and picks. So sad knowing I'll never get a chance to be on the show.. Oh well, have a Happy Retirement Bob Barker, and thank you for all these years of enjoyment.
On a happier note, GO SPURS GO!! Win it big tonite!

Go Spurs Go!
Just thought I'd update, say that yes, I'm still alive down here. Jack shit has been going on, working all the time. Deposited about a grand into the bank the other day, that should cover books for both semesters. Everything I earn now is for spending money for this coming year... yayyy!
Went tubing down the river yesterday, got a very bad sunburn, and now I'm pretty much dying. Never felt this kind of pain from a sunburn... like its tearing into my skin even when nothing is touching it. Sucks, but thats what you get for not wearing sunscreen down here, even if you are only outside tubing for an hour.
Blah, nothing else going on really. Work, bar, sleep. Thats what my life consists of this summer. I guess it could be worse...

Oh Bikers...
Apparently I have been sold to a Mexican Biker Gang in exchange for their bill of $40...
I guess thats how much my co-workers think I'm worth.. haha. Atleast the guy who wanted to buy me was cute...
Payday is tomorrow! Woot woot!

a boy? huh?
A lot of weird shit has been happening lately, first my dog kills a deer, then this event? Texas is starting to grow on me a bit...
So yesterday I was working, of course, when I waited on this strapping young fellow with his parents and aunt/uncle. They order alcoholic beverages, no food, and sit there for about an hour for no reason really, just enjoying the scenery. Well they have a $27 bill, and then give me a $10 tip for bringing them drinks, once. Quite weird, I thought. So I forget about it. Then later that night, this young fellow comes back to the restaurant when we were closing, and pretty much asks me if I want to go to the bar with him after work. Of course I say yes, after all he was good looking, and how often does this ever happen to me anyway?... Haha. So I seized the opportunity and go to the bar with another co-worker and her boyfriend, and sure enough, there is Matt with his family. There was a band playing at the bar, so we got up and did the good ol' country western two step, which I am getting better at.. haha, I swear. Then left that bar to go to another bar where we wont get carded if we ask for drinks. There we played pool, talked, and drank our beer, and found out that we have more and more in common with one another as we kept talking. Then later we left to go to the river, and had a good ol' time there, swimming, or trying to cuz the current was so damn strong. Then he gets a call from his parents wondering where the hell he's at, and if I had kidnapped him, so he had to back to the hotel. Today he visited me at work for a few minutes, just to say goodbye and whatnot. Sucks cuz he lives out in Waco, which is about 1.5 - 2 hours away.. why does this always happen to me? I meet some pretty cool people, but they all live way to far away from me to start anything. It sucks. Oh well tho. Hopefully I'll see him again when I drive back to MI, or if he comes to San Antonio or something. You never know.
