well that sucks.

Car accidents suck. Especially when you are on your way to having the best day of your life, something like this has to happen. Just my luck. Here's the story:
On my way to skydiving with Blake, roads were wet from rain that just came through. I was getting on the I-35 entrance ramp from 1604 loop just outside San Antonio, almost missing the exit because of my nasty daydreaming habit I have. So I get on the ramp, and say to Blake, "God I'm a horrible driver." where he proceeded to say "No you're not, your a good driver." The ramp was 45mph speed limit, because it wasnt that tight of a turn you had to make. I however, was going 40, maybe less cuz there were cars infront of me. But just as he said that, my car starts to fishtail because it couldnt get traction with the tires on the pavement. So I try to correct it, and end up overcorrecting it a little bit which caused it to fishtail even more. Then stupid me panics and slams on the breaks.. which I know you are not supposed to do, but I did it anyway. That caused me to completely turn my car perpindicular to the road, and skid over to the side barrier, and of course, crash right into it. It was like slow motion, as we were skidding closer and closer to it, it seemed like forever, like you just wanted to stick your hands out the window and stop the car from hitting it. Blakes head crashed thru the window, as the door collided with his hip. I just got a small whiplash in my neck, he has a bruised hip and cant walk on it without it hurting him. It just sucks. Damages according to one place is costing $4000, and so we took it to another place, and hopefully its around $2500, if not, bye bye car. :-(

Things are going great around here, I can't complain one bit. Only a month left of summer, and as always, I wish it would never end. I'm gonna miss it here so much; all the people I've met, new friends I've made. I hate goodbyes. But I'm not gonna think about all that until the time comes. For now, I think I'll just enjoy it and live up the time I have left with them.

Went on my first "official" date with Blake last night. Dinner, then a nice relaxing walk on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It's amazing how well we click together, a lot of the same interests, a lot in common, and a lot of chemistry between us.. haha. I've never met anyone like him before. I think he's just the thing I need in my life. I cant wait to see what happens next. Ok I'm done. haha

Congrats, Tom and Jessi! Their 777 wedding was a complete hit, I dont think it could have gone any better then how it did. Everything was perfect, just as it should have been. Jessi looked gorgeous walking down the isle, Tom cried, everyone cried, just perfect. I've decided my husband better cry when I'm walking down the isle, or I'd be offended. haha.
Rehersal dinner was awesome. After the rehersal dinner at Bella Note, we went to the Crazy Cowboy bar for drinks, and stayed there for quite some time. It's about time I was able to get into a Michigan bar... haha. Many pictures were taken, many free drinks were had. It was a great time.
Reception was a blast too. Lots of dancing, lots of free drinks, lots of fun with some wedding crashers... haha.
They really set the bar high for me, Nick, and Jessi's sister Amanda. It's gonna be hard to top that wedding for sure.

What a weekend. I'm exhausted. Now back to working in the real world, while Tom and Jessi enjoy their honeymoon in Petit St. Vincent. Lucky bastards.

Man, how quickly things change around here. People come in and out of my life all the time, I'm just glad I take the time to try and get to know them before they leave. This is the second person at work who left, who I liked to talk to and hang out with, go to the bars with. Gonna miss ya Tim!

Anyhoot, I officially have a boyfriend now, as of June 29th, 2007. Blake Allan Reynolds. He thinks it sounds like a serial killer name, I think otherwise. Only knew him for a few days, but in those few days we just clicked so well together, it was like something out of a book. Weird, this shit never happens to me. I guess my luck turns around when I'm in Texas.. haha. Great guy, I'm excited to see where this may lead to.
