Awesome!

Welp Thanksgiving came and went. I went to Vegas with $160 in my pocket, and came back with $300. Yeah, I'm pretty awesome!

Finals were good, finished my semester with a 3.49 overall GPA. Once again, I'm pretty awesome!

Winter break has been great so far. Went to the MSU vs UT bball game. Unfortunately, MSU lost. Drove down to gmas the next day and went to a Roger Creager concert that night. Awesome show for sure. Christmas was a blast as usual. Won bingo again this year - $82 bucks. Got some sweet presents this year - cowboy boot stein (THANKS TOM AND JESS!), a camelbak, $130 bucks worth of gift cards to Express for my grown up wardrobe. Awesome!

Went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert the other night.. It wasnt as good as their other concerts I've been to, but it was still amazing. Awesome!

Three more days til the Alamo Bowl and partying it up on the River Walk. I cant wait. Then right after the game, me and Adam are going straight up to Dallas for the Cowboys game. Awesome!

Thennnn going back down to Corpus and getting Aunt Linda a "50th Birthday" tattoo, while I get mine touched up. Awesome!

After that, I'm spending a couple days at the state park; mountain biking, hiking, then going out on patrol and busting some under-agers. Awesome!

Thennn Mom and I are going to a Spurs bball game for my last night in town. Awesome!

Best break ever!

Decisions Decisions…

Question of the month:

Assuming MSU goes to the Alamo Bowl Game, Should I stay in San Antonio for new years and go to the game on Jan 2? Or should I spend new years snowboarding with Nick in Salt Lake City from Dec 30 – Jan 5?  Or both if I can?

Lookin’ Up

Been a month since the last post.. seems like yesterday though. October flew by so fast it was unbelievable. Things are looking up, that’s for sure. I’ve been having a hell of a senior year. Finished one class and got a 3.5 in it, as expected. All the other classes seem like jokes since I barely have to do anything in them except occasionally read for a few. It’s definitely a change of pace from last year. Let’s just say I am enjoying it while it lasts.

Halloween was a sweet time. Went as a biker chick for the first night. Got called a lesbian, beat the shit out of the kid. Great night indeed. The Park Ranger outfit was a success. Perhaps I’ll be that from now on. Great times.

Today I finally sat front row at the football game.. and it was EPIC! Me and Jill were the first ones in line this morning… 6:45am. We’re a little crazy. Anyhoot, we got picked to be in one of those contests on the field and won 5 free pizzas. SWEET! Finally got the Front Row Fanatic Sparty hat, almost got a frisbee from Zeke :-( didn’t though. Oh well. It was a very successful day.

The last football game is two weeks from now… Lacrosse Tailgate. Going out strong! Should be a great time. Very bittersweet..

That’s about it for now. Basically my life has been class, bar, occasional workout, and football. Exactly how it should be in the fall

U of M… go home.

So school has started. Exams, projects, and homework are in full swing. Going pretty well I guess. September kinda flew by pretty fast. I’m hoping October and November do to so I can go to Vegas for Thanksgiving! I dont think I’ve ever been more excited about going to Vegas in my life.. mainly cuz I’m 21 now.. haha.

The MSU vs U of M game was this past weekend. Had a pretty sweet tailgate at the house. Rents came up, had a nice party. Who knew my mother was so good at drinking games and bonging beers?! Had an awesome time for sure. MSU won, of course. I think the word for that game was EPIC. Back to back years.. U of M cant make up excuses for that. :-)

The rest of the month consists of.. football, more football, homecoming, lacrosse games, all while juggling school and working out. I like having a lot of time on my hands.

Welcome Back

Welcome Week was a success this year. I officially feel welcomed back. Went out to the bars, party hopped every night, and met the neighbors and a ton of new people. It was awesome. Summer went out with a bang. Today we layed out by the pool, drank margaritas, grilled steaks, potatoes, corn, made a salad and had a feast, went to get ice cream at QD, then finished the night with a bonfire at Jillian’s. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Great end to summer, that’s for sure.

Classes start tomorrow. Even though I have an easier schedule, I’m dreading the work. Hopefully I don’t get Senioritis this year.. that could be bad.

Now to quote my Grandpa H:

“School days, school days
Good ol’ golden rule days
Reading, writing, arithmetic
Sung to the tune of the hickory stick”

May this year be the best one of all!

~Cheers

On the road again...

Me and Matt are no more. I think it's for the best. Who knows, maybe later in life we'll both realize exactly what we want and connect again. Idk.

Went to Austin the other night to see Josh play. Pretty fun time. Locked my keys in my car, met some crazy boys, drank whiskey for the first time in forever, and stayed out til 4:30. It was a pretty good night if you ask me.

Leaving tomorrow for MI. Mom is coming with to St. Louis, then it's all me from there. Should be fun. Going to the Anheuser Busch Brewery on Saturday, getting to MI on Sunday, partying Sunday night. As for the rest of the week, no idea. Don't care either. Just want to relax before classes start.

That's about it for now.

End of Summer

Well it's been about two months since I've updated and thought it was long enough. The job is coming to an end. Learned a lot, but didn't experience much, if that makes sense. It was a lot of fun, meet some crazy ass people, but I know this isn't what I want to do; being a clerk/administrative office worker that is. Rangering was a ton of fun. I wouldnt mind doin that; Or being a park police officer. Great times patrolling around, busting people. Never gets old to me. I guess that's a good thing.

Last few weeks of summer coming up. Driving back to MI with Matt on the 21st, stoppin in St Louis to go on the Anheuser Busch Brewery tour, that should be a ton of fun. Then WELCOME WEEK! So excited. Last year of school.. gonna make it the best! GO GREEN!

21

Wowawewa it's been a while. Surprisingly not a lot has been happening.. Haha. School went fantastically. Overall GPA = 3.43 :-)
Quantico and Nicks graduation was a ton of fun. Shot some guns, got to see the helo's land and take off, sit in em, and tear them apart. Yay!
Work has officially started, goin pretty well. Just in the office all day, checkin people in, taking money. Boring, but in a few weeks I'll get to go out in the field and do some work and patrolling. Should be fun
21st bday was pretty good. Went to F-burg and drank and ate. Got carded, drank more. Pretty tame night. Tonight will be different tho.

Yup.. thats my life this summer... Work, driving, work, driving, Waco, Home, driving, concerts, driving, drinking. Haha thats about it.

uno mas semana

One more week until I'm road tripping home with my aviators on, windows down, and music blasting :-)

Finals blow. But at least I'm doing better in my classes than I thought I was. Sweeeeet!

Spring Fever

Welp. Kind of a lot has happened since last time I updated. Went to Cali for lax, saw the beach again :-) San Francisco is a fun time. Saw tons of sea lions!

Easter weekend was fun. Got a shit ton of candy since I'm an orphan ;-) Tons of food. I'm a fatty now. Played an interesting night of Edward 40 hands. Fun times.

Playoffs and beer olympics this weekend. Should be a blast :-)

Then the rest of my life consists of papers, presentations, and work for class. Sucks, but oh well. 3 weeks to go!!

I decided I am once and for all, not playing lacrosse next year. I am doing the outdoor club and boxing instead. Not only is it $2000 cheaper, it seems like a shit ton more fun! So yes. Not playing.

I quit a sport every 7 years I found out. I played soccer from 4-11 years old, hockey from 11-18, lacrosse from 14-21. Crazy. Guess its just my time limit. Kinda cool

quite the break

Spring break was a pretty good time, despite the fact that it rained the whole time I was home. Finally got to see Matt again. Had a nice couple days alone with him. Talked, watched movies, went to Austin and Washington, and got back all in one piece.
It was quite the break for internship searching also. Had an interview, and met 2 other gentlemen at a bar and had a semi-interview with them. Good networking for sure.

St Patrick's Day was good. Was drinkin all day, everything in a blur basically. Had some good times from what I can remember.
These next 7 weeks are gonna go by pretty fast, I can feel it. Hopefully gonna hear back from the internships, got a whole weekend filled with lacrosse this weekend, next weekend gonna go to a Red Wings game (yay!), then off to California, Easter, playoffs, then a couple more weeks and its finals. Crazy shit.

I'm almost a senior..

Welp. Not much has happened since my last post. Got sick last week, had exams, presentations, parties, lacrosse practices, and thats about it. Cards lost the superbowl, I have yet to go snowboarding this year, and the weather outside is not frightful.

Randy Rogers concert is on Wednesday. I'm beyond excited for it. How many people will actually go to the Randy concert on a Wednesday, in Grand Rapids, MI? I'm hoping only 2. Haha

Back to school...

Been busy ever since Matt came to Medina last week. Cooked up some lobster on Friday night, then went to the Drew Kennedy concert in Kerrville for our pre-one year anniversary. Saturday we went skeet shooting where he totally kicked my ass. Haha. Flew back to MI on Sunday. Class this week seemed to drag on, mainly cuz I'm lacking about 5 hours of sleep a night. Probably need to start going to bed earlier. Oh well. Been in the -15s lately.. so that blows. Lax starts tonight. Too tired to really care much about it. Suppose thats not a good thing.

I miss Texas.

Yay for 4 day weekends!

Hello 2009!

Been a pretty good year so far, despite the fact it's only been 4 days. New Years was fun. Went up to JC, saw Yes Man, played Bingo, 2X Cranium champs!, I finally beat Matt at Worms AND Stratego. Yup this year is starting out very well :-) Not to mention Matt is quitting smoking, which is a double bonus :-)

Gonna do some skeet shooting, bar hopping, cook some lobster, and have a good time this coming weekend with Matt, basically our pre- one year anniversary. Man 2008 just flew by.

Only a week left. Seems like I just got here... Totally not looking forward to going back to school. Altho I am excited to play hockey again! Yay!
