Here's something interesting/shocking...

Rocko's First Kill:
My parents go on a daily walk around the property with the dog. Well today was no different. However, today there were doe and fawn's out in the back of the property. Rocko being the stupid dog that he is, goes and chases them across the field in our backyard. He catches up to one of the baby's and traps it somehow. It ran over to a part of our yard that is basically a huge puddle, could almost be called a pond. So Rocko chases it over there, and the deer tries jumping over the fence thats there, but cant make it, so it was trapped. Apparently the dog grabbed it by its hind legs, and the baby being as scared as it was, drops down in the pudddle/pond, as Rocko stands on top of it as the baby drowns in the puddle, as if he knew he was drowning it and killing it. My parents come running by to see what had happened, and the only thing they saw was the dog standing on top of the drowned deer. So being the hicks that we are, my dad goes out there and drags the dead deer out of the water, carries it up the hill and proceeds to gut it, skin it, chop it all up, and freeze the meat.

I guess we're having deer tonite.

Work Work Work

Summer. It sucks so far, but its bound to get better. Work is going great, meeting a lot of different and weird people, getting big tips.. money is nice. haha

Memorial day was crazy. Family came up. Worked 36 hours in 4 days. Needless to say, I'm pretty beat.

Diet is going well.. been 2 weeks and already lost 7 pounds. Woo! If I keep this up, I'll be in great shape. ha.

Ummm.. yeah. Thats about it.

WDIA Nationals 2007

Wow, it's been a while.

Lets see.. semester grades were a lot better than last, thank god. Finals were ok, studying always sucks. School is over. Move out day was kinda depressing knowing I wont walk down the hall and see the same people ever again, but then again I'm extremely happy for that since most of them were bitches anyway. Haha

Nationals was amazing. Denver is always a great time, no matter what. We were ranked 8th going into the tournament. We played Florida first. Beat them 10-8 in a fairly stressful game. The altitude sucks since you cant breathe as well and not to mention that we only had 3 subs this whole tourny... not good. Next game was against Cal Poly, the 6x defending nationals champs, so needless to say I wasnt surprised that we lost 19-4. So we go to the losers bracket, and play U of M the next day, losing like 16-6 or something, we were exhausted but it was a tough and physical game, even the coaches were about to go at it.. haha. Douchebags. Anyhoot. Played Colorado the next day, lost 8-7, but played well considering our lineup. So overall, we ended up in 8th place when the tournament was over, not bad. U of M came in 5th, but left in 6th.. hahah those cocky bastards. Partied on Saturday night, shit happened, long story short - U of M sucks at beer pong. haha. Anyway, flight out was at 6am Sunday, so that sucked.

Drove all day Sunday and all day Monday and finally got to Texas last night. Not that bad of a drive, 2 - 10 hour days.

Diet and exercise starts today. Trying to get toned and down to 130 again, hopefully I can do it, lose the beer belly... ha.

Job hunting sucks.

Freshman Year.

I can't believe this year almost over. It seems like just yesterday I was moving all my stuff in, trying to find my way around on this campus. Now there's a week of finals left. Where did this school year go to, and where was I for half of it? haha. Many good times, many mehhh times. Overall it was a fun time:
Met some sweet people who I cant wait to live with next year. Partayy!

Made many new friends that I hope to keep in touch with over the next 4 years.

Had a GREAT time with lacrosse, cant wait til Nationals in Denver! Sucks saying goodbye to the seniors that I've grown to love, despite the shit they put me through... haha. I couldnt imagine what I would have done without them.

Anyhoot. Time to study for finals... :-( Wish me luck! I'm actually doing well this semester!

DIVISION CHAMPS!!

Yesterday was quite possibly one of the best days of my life. Had to go to Toledo for playoffs...
Here's how it went down.

Game 1: No. 16 MSU vs Miami of Ohio. Should have been an easy game, but Miami is way underrated. They played a great game, but MSU wins 10 to 5. Had a couple of sweet assists.

Game 2: No. 16 MSU vs Defending Division A Champs in 2006, No. 8 Pittsburgh. We worked our butts off, out-hustling them to every ball. They thought this game would be a cakewalk, but the underdog MSU wins 10 to 6. We played excellent defense. Winning this game knocks Pitt out of the running for Nationals.

Game 3: Division A Finals: No. 16 MSU vs No. 5 U of M. Going into this game from that huge win vs Pitt, we were feeling unstoppable. It was a back and forth game, we score, they score. But then we broke away from them halfway thru the second half, increasing the lead to 3 goals. And then the rest of the game is history. MSU wins 9 to 6.
MSU IS DIVISION A CHAMPS!! MSU IS GOING TO NATIONALS IN DENVER!!

Pretty much the most amazing feeling ever to finally win something in lacrosse. After 2 years of being runner up at the state finals, I was getting sick of being second best. Winning this was just amazing. No one can stop us now! Denver, here we come!

Shunnnnnnah!

This week was pretty good. Popo's 21st birthday on Wednesday, good times of course. Drank way to much ocean for my own good.
Toledo was a good time this weekend.. but FREEZING cold. Won all three games by 12 goals or more, scored 5 or 6.. I'm not sure. Partied afterwords at Germs, passed out early tho. Shitshow.

I am quite happy that I wont be living in Michigan this summer. Finally a chance to turn my shitshow of a life around and do something productive for once. Work out and eat healthy in attempt to lose the Freshman 30. I wont be drinking heavily anymore, so a chance for my tolerance to go way down just in time for the fall and welcome week, so I can do it all over again. Haha, healthy I know, right? Hopefully I'll get into a healthy food / active routine so I'll keep all the weight off next year... hah right.

Anyhoot, playoffs this weekend in Toledo. Gonna be a tough one. Kinda weird knowing this may be the last week of lacrosse for the year.. what am I going to do with my life then?! Maybe focus on school and actually get good grades.. that works. Rambling, I'm done.

Chicagoland!

Easter weekend was a lot of fun. Went to Chicago with Becka from Thursday to Sunday. Good times. One of her friends was house sitting, so he had many parties every night. Met most of her friends, who are hillarious. Met probably the nicest/cutest guy ever, Brandon, who I would date in a heartbeat if I had a chance. Haha. Wish he didnt live in Illinios tho, that sucks. Oh well, I'll see him this fall when he visits. Easter Day was great, tons of GREAT food, and not to mention, some hot cousins of hers. Haha. I'm done.

Anyhoot. Hanging out with Kristen and Beckaaaaa a lot , and I cannot wait till we get our apartment. Even tho we all have nothing in common, we all have a great time when we are together. It's kinda weird how that works out. PUMPED!

Toledo this weekend and next weekend for playoffs. WOOT! GO STATE!
