It is the last day of 2006, finally. It's been quite the year, many events happened: Spring Break, Prom, 18th Birthday, Graduation, State Finals, Germany, Colorado, NC, Michigan State, rents moved to Texas. I'd have to say, it's been one hell of a year. Lots of good times, but few bad times. Overall it was fantabulous.
People started showing up for the New Years party yesterday, so we were able to play a huge game of paintball. Didn't get hit at all, but hit everyone else. Let's just say I was the MVP. haha
Finally met a few of our neighbors last night... people MY age. It was a good time I guess, went to a real Texan country concert and saw Honeybrowne. Learned how to two-step, stuff like that. I guess it was better that we had a couple beers in us already, so it wasnt that awkward.. haha. But anyhoot, hanging out with them in the summer should be fun for sure. Good times to come.
Just waiting here for everyone else to show up, so we can have an even bigger game of paintball and finally get this party started.
Bring on the new year.

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Spent Xmas Eve and Xmas at Grandmas house with EVERYONE. Twas a good time for all. Verrry loud inside the house, as there were 30 of us. Good seeing everyone again, its been a while. Did the whole Chinese gift exchange on the Eve; I got a blender, which will be good for the apartment next year. The rest of the day was filled with the annual BINGO game, battle of the sexes, which women won, and that means no dishes for us. Good times. Christmas came quick, as it doesn't feel like it at all. Had breakfast, went to see Grandpa at the cemetery, then a turkey dinner. good stuff. Long drive home, but slept. It was a long weekend.
Christmas at this house wont be til the 28th when Tom and Jess get here.. which kinda sucks, but oh well. Soo yeah, overall Christmas went pretty well.
Cant wait til New Years when everyone come here and we have a huge party. Should be an amazingly drunken time, as it was last year. Paintball is in order, most def. Anyhoot, time to do something actually productive with today... adios.

Texas.
Oh my. what to say...
This Texas property is quite big, bigger than I thought it was. Lots of acres, which means lots of wildlife everywhere. Within the first couple hours here, I had already seen close to 10 deer, an armadillo, and some jackalope-looking rabbit, and not to mention the 4 horses, and 4 barn cats, and the rat-eating-snake in the old well. And just tonite, a group of coyotes attempted to tear Rocko to shreads... its a different type of dangerous world out here.
The house is quite huge also.. wood floors, wood walls, and wooden ceilings; which means if you lit a match, it would go up in a blaze VERY quickly. A lot of work needs to be done outside, including getting rid of all the previous owners crap, re-doing their attempt to make the house "look good", and just cleaning up all around the property. Ugh. So much to do, and it all starts tomorrow.
The town is tiny, dry town. The main street consists of an Old Timers Breakfast place, A Taco Stand, a post office, gas station, a couple more restaurants, and a furniture store. It's a hoppin place at night, let me tell you. Bandera is a little different, more touristy, lots of bars, dance halls, more young if you will. Should be a good time on the weekends if you're 21... or perhaps even if you're not?? Not sure, havent tried going to a bar yet. Lets just say, this town makes Troy look like a paradise. So all you bitches up there, when you tell me you are bored, you havent even SEEN bored yet.
Anyhoot. It's quite late. I'm off to bed.

I suck.
I don't think this whole college thing is for me. Dont get me wrong, the parties are great, people are awesome, but I just suck at the whole school thing. I never studied in high school, homework was the thing that always brought up my grade. So basically I was screwed once I came here. Not only have I 'studied' my ass off, probably more than my whole hall combined, but I still manage to do horribly on quizzes, exams, and finals. You name it--I failed it. I might as well drop out right now, cuz I know my parents aren't going to be too happy about this. Looks like I'll be paying for college from now on. Maybe that will actually spark some sort of intelligence in my brain and force me to focus like woah. I just dont know. There has GOT to be some type of study secret that everyone but me knows. I dont know, I just dont get it.

WOOOO!
Done. Finished with math for the rest of my freaking life. No more definite integrals, limits, exponential functions, functions, functions. I HATE FUNCTIONS! The test was pretty good. A few I had a vague idea on, but I managed to work thru and have an educated guess. I hope I did well.
Criminal Justice tomorrow, which I'm actually pretty pumped to study for since I'm interested in it.
Today is a good day. Weather couldn't be any more perfect for it being December 11th.
'Til tomorrow.

A Self Realization
I've been lying to myself my whole life, and it took me this long to realize it. You know when you take those personality tests, they are never really accurate. This is because you dont put down what you really are, you put down what you want yourself to be. You put down your alter ego that you would just love to be, but can't. As for me, I've lied to myself over and over again, because I actually believed I was who I wrote down on those tests. Which goes to the whole point of writing this..
I figured out today, I am, infact, not a relaxed, easy going person that I always "thought" I was. Now to deny that I am never that type isn't true either. I have my days of chilling, not caring about much of anything; But most of the time, I am not this type of personality. I find myself tense and a worry-rat in a lot of situations. I always have to be on-time for some reason. I am rarely late; and when I am, I feel guilty. I guess certain situations bring out the easy-going side of me, and certain ones bring the tense/stressed side of me. But to say that I am always easy-going, carefree, and stress-free is just a lie. Therefore, I have been lied to, by my own self.
Maybe it's just because finals are a stressful time, that I'm feeling this way. I see other people just not caring about studying, and I dont understand how they can do that. College isn't free, and we sure as hell aren't paying $16,000 a year to get a graduate degree in partying.
Only 2 to go. Let's do this.
oh yes. a link to my old blog.
